Position Overview: VHI is currently seeking a dedicated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Cabinet Finishing Technician. This role presents an exciting opportunity for candidates passionate about craftsmanship and seeking to establish a career in the field of custom woodworking and manufacturing. While previous experience is a plus, it is not a required as we are committed to offering comprehensive training to the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare cabinets for finishing processes, including sanding, priming, and masking
• Operate paint spray booth to apply paint and finishing materials according to specifications
• Ensure adherence to quality control standards throughout the finishing process
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, including the spray booth
• Collaborate closely with team members to achieve production targets
• Strictly follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times

DESIRED SKILLS: We value candidates with a background in woodworking, painting, or related fields, although prior experience in these areas is not mandatory. Our ideal candidate demonstrates a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow within our company. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are highly desirable. Basic mathematical skills for measuring and mixing paint, as well as proficiency in following instructions, are beneficial.
