Assistant Driller/Technician in Rochester, NY

Salary Range: $45,760-49,920

Assist the lead driller with environmental and geotech drilling including:
• Installation of ground water monitoring wells or injection points
• Collection of core samples using a variety of sampling systems
• Assistance in geotechnical services
• Loading and unloading associated tooling and supplies
• Operation of handheld tools such as concrete core machine, hammer drill, and various pumps

Requirements:
• Hold a valid NYS Drivers License
• Construction experience preferred
• Able to lift in excess of 50lbs
• OSHA 40hr HAZWOPER Training (Preferred but not required)
• OSHA 10hr Construction Safety Training (Preferred but not required)
• Able to work in all weather conditions

Overtime at 1.5x and prevailing wage work. Regional travel and overnight stays required.
