Custodian / Maintenance Supervisor in Rochester, NY

Salary Range: $40,000-$50,000

The qualified candidate will work alongside the maintenance team to ensure the school building and grounds are clean, safe, and in good condition. Responsibilities include daily cleaning of classrooms, offices, restrooms, the gym, and cafeteria; performing small repairs; conducting routine and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment; and maintaining the cleanliness of the school's exterior.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally use a ladder for tasks such as changing lightbulbs. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills. Professional and courteous interaction with students, staff, volunteers, visitors, vendors, and the general public is essential.
