This position provides administrative support to the Galvanizing Plant.
Responsibilities
Arrange and set up materials for commercial customer production and pickup.
Prepare and maintain documents and reports for the Galvanizing Manager and Quality Department.
Organize and file operations-related documentation.
Guide others through document control procedures and workflows as needed. Generate and coordinate purchase orders and follow up with vendors as needed.
Organize and fulfill accounting tasks related to company deadlines.
Monitor customer account status.
Accurately enter data into spreadsheets and other data analysis software.
Type memos, correspondences, reports, and other documents.
Maintain privileged company, employee, and management information in confidence.
Greeting guests in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner.
Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Provide general clerical duties, including but not limited to faxing, filing, and copying.
All other duties as assigned.
Experience
Ability to read, write, and comprehend technical information and documentation.
Strong multitasking abilities with the capability to meet deadlines efficiently.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle and protect confidential information with discretion.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities to address challenges proactively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
