The Advancement Assistant provides support for all aspects of Heritage Christian Services’ Foundation’s fundraising activities including agency and foundation board meetings and all foundation board committee minutes.
To support the mission, vision and values of Heritage Christian Services, Inc.
Provide general support for the executive director and all aspects of Heritage Christian Services Foundation’s fundraising activities including foundation board meetings and all foundation board committee minutes.
Attend and participate in major Foundation functions.
Provides meeting and event support, maintains and distributes materials to the Board of Directors, donors, and supports an annual fundraising campaign.
Provide back up to the donor relations coordinator who manages Heritage Christian Services’ database ensuring that the records of donors, and prospects are entered, maintained, and updated accurately and for designing and generating reports and analyses as needed or requested.
Coordinates birthday, anniversary, get well and sympathy cards for families and donors from the members of the executive team.
Arranges meetings, books and maintains calendar.
Planning and conducting a broad range of development research in support of a major gifts program and capital campaign.
Identify new fundraising prospects and uncover timely and pertinent information about donors, community leaders and philanthropists, friends and organizations.
Respond to requests by Advancement staff for information on individual prospects, including financial assets, potential for philanthropic support, and areas of interest.
