Position Summary
We're seeking a detail-oriented Deburring Technician who takes pride in delivering flawless finished products. At Addison Precision Manufacturing, the final touch makes all the difference. Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform precision deburring operations on machined components including filing, sanding, deburring, cleaning, grinding, masking and polishing parts in accordance with standards set by Addison Precision Manufacturing and the customer.
-Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections using various hand tools and equipment
-Inspect parts for compliance with customer specifications.
-Use precision measuring instruments to verify part quality.
-Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
-Maintain detailed documentation of work completed.
-Keep work area clean and organized.
-Follow safety protocols and proper PPE requirements.
-Handle delicate and high-value components with care.
-Report any quality concerns to supervision.
Qualification Requirements:
-High school diploma or GED Required; Trade/Vocational certificate in precision machining a plus!
-1+ years’ experience in deburring or finishing operations.
-Experience in aerospace parts finishing a plus!
-Ability to solve problems, think analytically and critically.
-Experience using hand tools and deburring equipment.
-Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
-Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools.
-Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
-Reliable and consistent work ethic.
-Knowledge of measurement instruments.
-Experience using manual and electric hand tools and machines.
-Ability to stand for extended periods.
Environment & Physical Demands:
-While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk and hear.
-The job may involve prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
-Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May involve prolonged periods of magnified inspection (eye strain).
-Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp.
-The employee is frequently required to use the computer.
-May involve the use of oils and solvents.
-Subject to some soilage and irritation from cleaning solutions. (Lab Coats provided)
-Generally, works in a clean environment and works to maintain the environment as such.
-Safety Glasses are required and may require area specific safety training
-This position works in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
-May work at different workstations as production needs require, or shifts from one station to another, during the production process.
