Salary Range: 36,000-40,000 plus commissions

Entry Level Outside Sales Representative

Smaller Manufacturers rep company looking to expand its Outside Sales Team. The Outside Sales Representative meets with customers in person and through electronic means to identify their needs and close sales. Main duties include keeping contacts, both new and existing, up-to-date on new products, updates and features. Negotiates sales in their assigned territory. Territory includes Western and Central New York.

Qualifications:
- Ability to build relationships with existing and new customers.
- Must be able and willing to learn numerous Manufacturers and products to better identify customers’ needs and wants.
- Able to close negotiations.
- Microsoft Office Proficient, as well as, able and willing to learn new programs (ie, customer relationship management (CRM) software.)
- Ability and willingness to travel. Must have reliable transportation and a safe driving record.
- Strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated.

Salary & Benefits:
Base salary range: $36,000-$40,000, with commissions.
Benefits: negotiable, based on needs.
