Grounds Laborer - FT Seasonal in Rochester, NY

Salary Range: 17.25 per hour

The Town of Henrietta is looking to fill several full-time seasonal positions.

General Description: This position is an entry level position involving a variety of routine heavy, light, and manual labor tasks. The job requires physical endurance.

Days/Hours: 40 hours/week. 6:00AM – 3:30PM, Monday through Thursday, and 6:00AM – 10:00AM on Fridays with a ½ hour unpaid lunch.

Special requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid NYS Driver’s License.
Candidates are required to pass a drug, alcohol, physical examination and background check at time of appointment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lawn maintenance using push mowers, string trimmers and riding mowers
• Landscaping
• Painting
• Cleaning
• Various other light labor duties as assigned.
