Salary Range: $41,000

We are a busy, family owned bar & grill seeking skilled and dedicated cooks to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in a restaurant setting. Weekend & evening availability and reliable transportation are a must.

Duties:

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
Handle food with proper safety and sanitation procedures
Plate dishes attractively and efficiently for service
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Ensure all food handling complies with health regulations and safety standards

Requirements:

Proven culinary experience in a food service environment
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
Excellent knife skills and meal preparation abilities
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Knowledge of food industry standards and kitchen operations
Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
Prior experience in food service, culinary roles, or related fields is highly desirable
