Line Cook in Rochester, NY

Salary Range: $41,000

We are a busy, family owned bar & grill seeking skilled and dedicated cooks to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in a restaurant setting. Weekend & evening availability and reliable transportation are a must.

Duties:
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Handle food with proper safety and sanitation procedures
• Plate dishes attractively and efficiently for service
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
• Ensure all food handling complies with health regulations and safety standards

Requirements:
• Proven culinary experience in a food service environment
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
• Excellent knife skills and meal preparation abilities
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food industry standards and kitchen operations
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
• Prior experience in food service, culinary roles, or related fields is highly desirable
