The Maintenance Technician is capable of independently preforming all duties and responsibilities regarding the equipment and facilities maintenance and repairs, mechanical and electrical
tasks and troubleshooting equipment to determine the root cause of malfunctions. The Maintenance Technician is also responsible for maintaining quality and safety standards,
housekeeping/cleanliness/organization, attention to detail and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Follow and promote safety standards as identified by the Company Handbook, orientation, and verbal instruction from supervisory staff. This includes utilizing all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Have extensive knowledge of equipment structure and functionality.
Proficiency in reading and understand mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics for equipment components and assembly.
Capable of disassembling and reassembling machine components and other devices.
Ability to troubleshoot/analyze equipment performance to identify potential problems and root cause of malfunctions.
Proficient with all maintenance tools and equipment necessary to perform the assigned tasks
With supervisory guidance, will manage assigned projects and meet required deadlines.
The successful Maintenance Technician will be proficient in each essential duty.
Capable of communicating clearly with all contacts on all assignments, project planning and execution and all related issues.
Must be able to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Employee must have the skills to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

High School diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated skills working safely with mechanical equipment
1+ years of manufacturing experience; preferably in the flexographic or paper conversion industry
1+ years of lean experience a plus
Must be able to physically lift, push, pull or carry products weighing up to 30 lbs.
Must be physically able to work in a standing position with repetitive movement of hands for eight to twelve hours.
