Heritage Christian Services is seeking applicants to join our HR team.
As an Onboarding Specialist, your responsibilities will include communicating organization and position details to new hires before their start date, gathering necessary paperwork and scheduling first days.
If you have an HR background, basic knowledge of labor legislation and a flair for interacting with people, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with recruiters to identify candidates to be on boarded.
Responsible for assisting new hires with their paperwork and pre-employment background checks, with a focus on a positive customer service experience for candidates.
Serve as a direct contact for new employees to welcome them to the organization.
Complete new employee references as assigned.
Enter new hires into ADP Workforce Now, our human resource information system.
Ensure compliance with Agency policies, and State and Federal law.

Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are required
Strong attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy
Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work independently
Ability to work with frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workflow
Dependable team player who works collaboratively and cooperatively with staff in a team-oriented environment
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, prioritize among competing needs and respond quickly to requests for information.
Must maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion in handling sensitive information and data.
Minimum of High School Diploma; Associates degree preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office
