Salary Range: $60,000-$90,000 yearly
Position Summary:The Process Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining processes in a Lean Manufacturing setting. The Process Engineer works with both the customers and fellow departments to develop and improve the manufacturing process by studying product and manufacturing methods. Process Engineers have the ability to contribute their knowledge and ideas to improve upon current processes, resulting in reduced cycle times, improved quality of product and increased cost savings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain manufacturing process flows.
• Support manufacturing in productivity and quality improvements
• Collaborate with engineering, production and quality teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Experience in tooling, fixturing and gaging to assist in the development of new product manufacturing
o CAD (Fixtures, Prints, and Models)
• Collaborate with outside engineers, contractors, and suppliers
• Optimize processing capabilities through use of continuous improvement principles
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action determination
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T understanding
Qualification Requirements:
• BS degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience as a Process Engineer or similar role preferred.
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques.
• Project Management skills.
• Problem solving ability.
• Strong GD&T knowledge
• Continuous commitment to health and safety standards.
• Contribute to a Team Effort as well as being able to work independently.
