Responsibilities:

Provide individual or small-group tutoring to help students master assignments and reinforce learning concepts

Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions to specials, cafeteria, recess, and field trips

Support the classroom teacher with clerical tasks to benefit the classroom

Assist students who need extra support, offering guidance and encouragement

Teach and model social skills, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

Ability to pass state and federal background checks

Previous teaching assistant experience preferred

High-energy and enthusiastic about working with children
